What happens when someone is globally banned?
This article explains what happens when a user is globally banned. This ban can be started by a moderator in a specific server or triggered automatically by the bot’s detection system, which looks for scams or harmful behavior.
The process begins when a user runs a command or when the bot identifies a potential scam. This detection happens automatically, using set rules and algorithms that watch for suspicious activity.

After this, the user gets a notification explaining the ban or the reason for the action taken against their account. This message is meant to clearly inform the user about their ban status.
Then, the user is added to our central database of banned users. This triggers an event that our system detects. Once this happens, the user is banned not only from the original server but also from all servers that use the Scammerslammer bot. Each server receives a notification like the one shown below, so all communities using the bot are informed about the global ban.

At this stage, the user is banned across the entire network of servers using the bot. If they try to join any other server with the Scammerslammer bot, they will be automatically banned again, keeping them from joining these communities.
