Is this support legitimate

Fake support impersonation is one of the most common attack methods in crypto and community spaces. A scammer will present themselves as staff, then pressure you to act quickly. This can be through phone, email, telegram or any other platform.

The first obvious clue is that legitimate support will NEVER ask for your wallet seed phrase/recovery phrase/12 words, private keys. Any message asking for those details is a scam, there is no exception. Doesn't matter how much you trust them DO NOT give your seed phrase to them or put it on a website.

Secondly, always verify where the conversation started. If you posted in a public channel and then received an unsolicited direct message from someone claiming to be support, then it's a scam. There is a rule in web3 that 'admins never dm the person first'.

Lastly, weird links. Does the scammer ask you to go to weird link?
