How to report a compromised Discord account
If a Discord account is compromised, speed matters. The first step is to secure the account owner and remove active scam exposure in shared servers.
When submitting a report, include the compromised account ID, the known scam messages or links sent from that account, and when the activity started. If the account was used to post phishing links in multiple servers, include examples from each location.
Screenshots are helpful when they show message context, not only isolated text. Context makes it easier to confirm account takeover patterns and trace campaign behavior.
If the account owner has recovered access, mention that in the report. If access has not been recovered, say that clearly so moderation teams can make temporary containment decisions.
For server administrators, remove malicious messages quickly and warn members not to interact with recent links posted by the compromised account. Including this response status in your report helps support understand current risk.
